Mathematics Ph.D. graduate receives prize

Ph.D. graduate Lori Watson, who is now at Wake Forest University, received the NSF Math Institutes prize for  the best presentation at the Haynes-Granville-Browne Session of Presentations by Recent Doctoral Recipients. This session is held at the Joint Mathematics meetings; it showcases recent graduates in the mathematical sciences.
