The Double Dawgs program is a joint degree program that is expected to take 5 years. It has stricter requirements than the usual math major, moving students directly into graduate level course work during their 3rd and 4th years of study, and adding (usually) a 5th year of graduate level coursework. The Double Dawgs programs available to undergraduate mathematics majors fall into three categories: programs for students who are pursuing graduate coursework in mathematics, those for students planning to teach high school, and those for students who intend to work in industry. The programs are listed below, organized by intended career path.
